The Anna Gong cake stand by Alessi is Mendini’s tribute to the legendary folding cake stand Art. 898 that was one of Alessi’s best sellers for quite some time in the 60s. Anna Gong has two aspects and two uses: when closed, it’s a table-top sculpture; when open, it becomes a multi-tier cake stand that can be used on the table.
