Geometric is Bonaldo's design table, created by designer Alain Gilles. Synthesis of an important path of stylistic and material research, Geometric Table is a "transformist" table that changes its shape by playing on perspective: with a hypnotic visual effect, it shows itself different according to the point of observation, for a living area with a surprising personality. The concept is based on chameleonic lines starting from the base: its four legs with teardrop feet appear thick or thin and sharp playing together to offer a different perception of visual weight when turning around the table, with an important stage presence but at the at the same time slender and graceful given by its rounded shapes. The table is made in a special hand-spatulated terracotta clay finish that gives the entire structure a sculptural effect.

Alain Gilles
Born in 1970 in Brussels (Belgium), after studying Political Science and Marketing Management, Alain Gilles embarked on a career in the financial world. But, since we only live once, he later decided, thanks to his wife's moral support, to study industrial design in France. In order to pursue his dreams and develop an individual approach to design, art direction and interior architecture, in 2007 he founded his own study. Since then, he has collaborated with many international brands, including Qui est Paul?, Galerie Gosserez, Magnitude, O'Sun, Buzzispace, Casamania and Bonaldo. Among the awards that many of his products have won are Henry Van De Velde Label, Design for Asia Golden Award, and Good Design Award. In 2012 Alain Gilles was named “Designer of the Year” during the prestigious Interieur fair in Courtrai.
