Manhattanhenge table lamp by Cini&Nils

The Manhattanhenge, also known as the Manhattan Solstice, is a phenomenon in which the setting of the Sun perfectly aligns with the streets that cross the borough of Manhattan, New York, in an east-west direction. This occurs twice a year, at the same temporal distance from the summer solstice: the first is temporally located close to May 28, while the second generally occurs around July 12. Cini & Nils immortalized this magical moment with the lamp that takes the name of Manhattanhenge, designed by Luta Bettonica and Giancarlo Leone. This table lamp, with two arched matt lacquered steel discs that welcome the light, captures and returns the suggestion of a spectacular sunset between the skyscrapers of New York. The light from inside the lamp radiates the rooms through the processing of steel, available in different sunset colors, from white to red.
