Faye Toogood is a British designer. Her furniture and objects show an interest in materiality and experimentation. All of her creations are handmade by small traditional producers and artisans, respecting the natural state and the irregularity of the chosen material. Her highly sculptural works show a shrewd respect for the past and are at the same time the result of pure self-expression and instinct. Toogood's objects are grouped in numbered “assemblages”, her trademarks.
