Frédéric Gooris, an industrial designer of Belgian origin, born in Leuven (Belgium) in 1974, graduated from Hogeschool Antwerpen in 1998. In 1999 he moved to Milan, where he obtained a master's degree in design at Domus Acadamy. He has experience working for 5 years for Philippe Starck and Stefano Giovannoni. He then opened the Gooris Studio in Milan, where he developed products and concepts for companies all over the world, including Alessi, Ferrero, Target, Levis, JCPenny, Foreverlamp, Oras, EQ3. In 2009 he is co-founder of Bombol, a design company for children's items. In 2010 he moved Hong-Kong, where he opened his second studio.
