Marco Ferreri

Marco Ferreri was born on February, 26th 1958 in Imperia and graduated in Architecture in 1981 at Politecnico in Milan, the city where he has been living and working since 1984. His project research ranges in many fields, from industrial design to graphics, from architecture to installations. Many of his objects are gathered in important design collections including the "Permanent Design Collection" of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the permanent design collection of the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the Collection of the National Contemporary Art Fund in Paris and many private collections. His work obtained many prizes and mentions: the "Less" chair produced by Nemo and the "Libroletto" (designed with Bruno Munari) have been selected for the Compasso d'Oro, Titi broom got the Design Plus 2000 award, the Foglia chair by Novecentoundici was selected for the Red Dot Award in 2002. He teaches at Politecnico in Milan, at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and at Libera Università in Bolzano.
