Made By Michael is a design studio founded by Michael Daae Christensen, who is currently finishing his PBA at TEKO design + business in Furniture design. Michael Daae Christensen started the design studio to prepare himself for the future as well as to start the transistioning from student to professionel designer. As a student he has already exhibited at several furniture fairs and in August 2014 he will showcase as an independent designer at Design Trade (CPH). With a characteristic design DNA focusing on functionality and simplicity with a special awareness on sustainability. Made by Michael is modern design studio aiming to carry on the Scandinavian design traditions of quality and long lasting products. Made by Michaels prefered material is wood - as part of his approach to sustainability he experiments with different joint methods, having a constant focus on production, manufactoring and packaging. Made by Michaels goal through the design is to leave the viewer with a little 'Ahà moment of childish wonder and joy.
