Todd Bracher
Todd Bracher is a native of New York, moved to Italy after completing a two-year internship in Denmark at Denmarks Designskole. He graduated full marks in Industrial Design (1996) at the Pratt Institute in New York after a course lasting about 4 years. He has worked as Senior Designer for several New York architecture studios as well as numerous studies in Copenhagen and Milan. His works are of interest to various environments: from consumer products, to designer design, to furniture design and exhibition space. "Open Privacy", a group of Todd's 1999 tables, won the ID Award in 2000 and the "Bloom" project won four: Promosedia Design for the European Chair Competition, Udine, Italy ( 2000); Ideas Award, Tokyo, Japan (2001); ID Award, New York, USA (2002) and UNESCO Design 21 Award, Paris, France (2002).
