EUR outdoor stool by Kartell

The EUR stool, designed by Fabio Novembre for Kartell, represents a molded cube whose shapes and geometries are inspired, in scale, by the Italian rationalist architecture of the 1930s and 1940s. Nicknamed "the square Colosseum" by the Romans, this emblematic monument has often been used as a decoration for cinema, television and advertising. Left empty and unoccupied for a long time, it has housed the headquarters of the luxury brand Fendi since 2015. The EUR stool is a solid cube punctuated by countless symmetrical rows of arches. It takes up the architectural language of the original building: minimal neoclassical style to the extreme, reinforced by ancient architecture, essential lines, geometric vocabulary.The stool is intended for different functions, seat or support and can find space in multiple environments and styles, indoors and outdoor.
