Freely inspired by one of the symbolic images of Kiev, Pacifico is the new bookcase designed by Lapo Ciatti, a wall made of books that rests on the wall and which, metaphorically, becomes a meeting and comparison point for culture and knowledge. The name of the Pacifico modular bookcase by Opinion Ciatti celebrates the Capitular Library of Verona, the oldest in the world in the Latin cultural area that is still in business today. The golden age of activity dates back to the 9th century, the period of the Carolingian revival. This phase is worthily represented by the Pacific Archdeacon, a multifaceted figure who gave impetus to the Scriptorium by contributing to the composition of two hundred and eighteen volumes. A fil rouge that ideally unites Pacifico with Ptolomeo: a tribute to those who were the creators of culture. Both Ptolomeo I Sotere - hence the iconic Ptolomeo collection - and Pacifico are in fact two illustrious personalities who contributed to the spread of knowledge and to whom Opinion Ciatti wants to pay tribute with its products. We recommend the Pacifico A and B version for those who need a more capiante complement, the shelf version, A and B, on the other hand, is excellent for furnishing the home office as it is equipped with an acrylic stone desk top.
