The Ptolomeo X4 110 bookcase with 5 shelves: an extraordinary touch originality by Opinion Ciatti. As soon as the famous Opinion Ciatti presented the Ptolomeo bookcases, these unusual and charming creations became one of its most iconic lines. These bookcases originated from a bold idea of designer Bruno Rainaldi, who wanted to transform in a particularly decorative and engaging style the messy stack of books we are all familiar with. The idea on which the bookcases of this collection are based is to make the shape of the bookcase barely visible, tricking the eye into seeing a series of suspended stack of books floating with no support. Bruno Rainaldi has therefore designed a slim and sleek structure that can hardly be seen when the bookcase is full but at the same time it is very durable and able to withstand the weight of the books. The Ptolomeo X4 110 bookcase with 5 shelves is one of several models you can choose. This one in particular offers 5 shelves and allows you to place books in different ways, i.e. horizontally and vertically, and this detail creates a peculiar optical effect. The Ptolomeo X4 110 bookcase with 5 shelves can hold a large number of volumes, approximately 200, and its decorative contribution is remarkable. But Opinion Ciatti wanted the best not only in terms of aesthetics but also in terms of materials for this creation it launched in 2007 and that is why its structure is a mix of steel and metal that guarantees maximum durability. The base, which thanks to its sturdiness ensures the piece has a perfect balance regardless of how the books are positioned, features a stylish chrome finish. The Ptolomeo X4 110 bookcase with 5 shelves can be a real gem in both modern and classic environments but the stack of books effect is perfect even in a vintage-furnished room.

Bruno Rinaldi learned everything in the field, starting while young to work in design communication. He ironically defined himself "a street designer" and his style as "chaotically rigorous". From the meeting with Flavia Ciatti in the Eighties, CCR was created, a new company orientated to developing home design. In 2002 he designed the famous Ptolomeo bookcase (Compasso d'Oro 2004). In 2006 Lapo Ciatti entered the company and Opinion Ciatti was launched. Rinaldi became its president, partner and art director.
