To name a few: Paola Navone, Stefano Giovannoni, Alessandro Mendini, Marc Sandler, Marcel Wanders, Karim Rashid and many others. Slide’s main interest is to create innovative, elegant, original, functional, practical and strong aesthetic and unique impacts. They have several indoor and outdoor pieces of furniture for visual impacts. Over time, the company has increased its share of the market, and in 2007 they came up with Slide Events while in 2011 Slideart. The latter strives to create a kind of connection between art and design, in such a way as to create unique, original products with character. Of all the products on the market the Gelée ottoman sports a stunning amount of originality. It is made of soft polyurethane worked through injection moulding, and can be purchased in different colours: grey, white, black or yellow. It has a height of 40 cm, a diameter of 112 centimetres and a weight of 22 Kg. The creator of this product is Roberto Paoli. Following the lines of the previous model, it has a shape that brings to mind soft candy. The Gelée ottoman’s lines capture gaze and attention, conveying a sense of comfort and softness.
