Performance has reached its peak in the Flexy yellow grater by Viceversa. Designed by Ely Rozenberg, a designer focused on developing lightweight designer objects using advanced materials and taking advantage of the latest technologies, this grater is made entirely of harmonious stainless steel and polypropylene handles. The use of this steel is the stroke of genius needed for this kitchen accessory, as it is a commonly used material to produce springs or strings for musical instruments due to its hardness, plasticity and most of all its elasticity. As a matter of fact, this silicon steel can temporarily lose its shape and then return to its initial state without suffering any damage or permanent defects. The Flexy grater features a very thin, two-dimensional steel sheet that can be held by the two side handles to turn into a three-dimensional object that takes on a conical shape for facilitated use. Once used, thanks to its elasticity, it returns to its original flat and thin shape and can be stashed away in a kitchen drawer. It can also be hung on a hook and left on display, flaunting its captivating shape, embellished by handles and edges, which will be sure to turn heads. The piece features sharp micro blades to ensure an impeccable cut, while the stainless steel makes cleaning a cinch as the grater is dishwasher safe. The side grips in PE are ergonomic and make for a comfortable and efficient grip during use. Flexible, foldable and space-saving, the Flexy grater is also quite the eye-catching piece, and all of these features combine for its winning of the prestigious Red Dot Design Award, Best of the Best 2012, an international prize awarded by the Red Dot Institute given to the best-designed products with regards to creativity and manufacturing. Info: dishwasher safe. Equipped with gift box._x000D_
