The Lia armchair immediately sets itself apart as an innovative piece for the advanced use of die-casting technology. The genius of Roberto Barbieri in designing this chair was that of combining an important technological innovation with a neutral and minimal shape that can easily adapt to any environment and style. As for materials, the frame is made in polished aluminium alloy while the seat, backrest, and armrests are padded in polyurethane – which makes the armchair very comfortable – and lined internally with a non-removable nylon fabric. The outer lining in fabric, on the other hand, can easily be removed. Zanotta is a leading Italian company in the field of contemporary furnishings. Born in 1954, for more than sixty years it has been offering its customers high-quality products. Zanotta is especially appreciated because, in its production, it uses different techniques and experiments with different materials. This is what has led the company to collaborate over the years with the most famous designers and architects, both national and international, making a breakthrough in the world of Italian design.
