A Meteorite on your table: This is the idea behind the Meteorite 48 table lamp, a masterpiece from blown Venice glass. The idea comes from Pio & Tito Toso, two designers who have created a particular line that brings part of the universe into the home and beyond. The Artemide lamp was designed in every detail with the aim of both utility and beauty. The diffuser is made of blown glass while the lamp body is steel and technical polymer. Setting this lamp from the rest is the double layer of artistic glass, used to create the diffuser, which is obtained with the craft technique of blowing into a stationary mould and therefore allows for subsequent grinding. The Meteorite 48 table lamp does not include bulbs. Two are recommended: the E27 HALO 150 Watt bulb, 2870 lm luminous flux and a colour temperature of 2900 K. Alternatively, you can use an E27 LED 8 Watt bulb, 900lm luminous flux. For the Meteorite 48 table lamp designer duo Pio & Tito Toso received the German Red Dot Design Award Essen. The two designers created the Meteorite collection with the aim of creating a new expressive language through glass blowing and lighting. In addition to the Meteorite 48 table lamp, the line also includes ones for the wall, ceiling, pendant and floor: the creative idea of blown glass is seen throughout the Meteorite family, as the only changes are to internal features. The pendant lamps are available in various sizes, which allows for the simultaneous use of multiple objects in the same room to create a play on lights and perspectives. The lamp has a 48 cm diameter, hence the name, and is 43 cm in height.
