VENEZIANO + TEAM
In 2008 it takes place the fruitful encounter between the architect and designer Gianni Veneziano and designer Luciana Di Virgilio; together they founded the Studio Veneziano + Team, a group of versatile and creative professionals and conceptual thinkers.
Every single member of the V + T team has specific complementary skills and knowledge that allow the study to carry out multiple projects of different nature: from industrial to interior design, from graphics to restructuring and also the development of exhibition projects and design management.
Each work and project that comes from the V+T studio is based on one common philosophy: the emotional impact is the focal point of any project, no matter what's the context: every work created by Gianni, Luciana and their highly-qualified team aims first of all at communicating passion and feelings.
Particular attention is also devoted to integrated communications strategy that mix creativity and a strategic thinking technology.

Functionality is what defines forms and structures of the objects created by the brand, a simple and intuitive philosophy, but at the same time highly artistic and always oriented towards experimentation and new collaborations.
V+T creations give life to a synergistic alliance between innovation and experience.
Many projects created by the Gianni Veneziano and Luciana Di Virgilio have appeared on the most important magazines in addition to being guests at major national and international design shows.

V+T's corporate identity is significantly affected by important collaboration with the Triennale Design Museum; the studio, besides organizing exhibitions that have as a central theme "The sign of the Designer", he created a collection to donate to Milan's Triennale that is now part of its permanent collection.
Accessories and furnishing accessories, creation of spaces and atmospheres with an innovative design, the LED illuminated basins that seem, at first sight, some giant bedside lamps, but also experiments in food design such as Tulipan, a spiral that mixes the tastes and smells typical of Apulian products including the famous Altamura bread.

V + T never stops amazing by boycotting the primary function of an object, and devoting it to another use. Who would have thought to make a flower pot using paper? Normally it might seem counterintuitive, two elements (paper and water) that may not coexist for a long time… but not for Gianni and Luciana. Through a process called "felting" (a phenomenon that occurs through the combination of cellulose fibers), the two designers create Paperman, a mono-flower vase formed by a stratification of a simple A4 paper sheets.

The Veneziano + Team studio is not only based on high technical-design capability, and behind many of their works there is a deep human emotional journey, metaphors of infinity that renovate themselves and stimulate people to meet each other.
The Ossidi collection is emblematic of this philosophy: it is composed of ten glass works, made in Venice at the Adriano Berengo glass workshop. The focal point of this metaphorical collection, are the flower vases created with stem glass placed first inside then outside a glass bubble: broken, full or empty glasses. A work that presents some classical references, but also represents the contemporary human being's journey toward a space "other than himself."
Among the prestigious collaborations of Gianni Veneziano, we cannot forget that with other fifty authors between artists, designers and stylists for the exhibition "Pictures of me". On the occasion of the exhibition, all the participating artists were asked to draw, on a vase specifically created by the great Alessandro Mendini, some sort of identity card of life, playing with their own "image of themselves." The work by Venetian speaks of a living nature, a fascinating interplay between flora and fauna, so full of genuineness that make us hope for an afterlife.

In June 2013, Gianni Veneziano is organizing another exhibition at the Triennale Design Museum, called "Daysign". Daysign will also become the name of a television program that talks about art and is presented by the designer duo of the V + T studio.
Daysign is kind of a 365 pages diary created by Gianni Veneziano starting the day of his birthday. Each of the pages contains the everyday drawings that during twelve months have inspired the designer.

The Daysign project at first is only online, in a virtual exhibition, but later the diary was exhibited at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan and it has lent its name to the program broadcasted on the Italian television.
Prints on paper with minimal and essential features, some of them made in black and white like "A portrait of contemporary man", "Flower vases" or "Men of flowers", and other prints with hints of colour such as "Social Design", "Breakfast", "Still life with Paolo and Gio", "The dress man" and many others.
But who are the fascinating minds that have set up this eclectic brand?

Gianni Veneziano
Born in 1979, he graduated in Florence at the faculty of architecture with an experimental thesis on "Architectural design and designed architecture". Fundamental to his artistic development, was his three-year stay (1979-1981) in the US. In 1984, he founded in Milan with Prospero Rasulo the Gallery of the Art Project "Oxido". Veneziano worked with many other companies including Fine Factory, Barovier and Toso, Lumi, Gervasoni, Sisal and Fatto ad Arte also presided over many classes at several design schools.

Luciana Di Virgilio
She graduated in Industrial Design in Florence. Since 2005, she works in the product and graphic design sector, developing works of corporate identity and interior design, even for private clients. She collaborates with the "Art of Living" fair in Verona and with the Triennale di Milano, through exhibition design projects. One of her works forms part of the permanent collection of the Triennale Design Museum in Milan. In 2011 she received the honorable mention of the Raymond Loewy Foundation and since 2012, she presents a radio show about design on Radio Capital. Luciana Di Virgilio is also working as a blogger for the HuffingtonPost.it website. The magazine Interni, in 2013, described it as one of the most promising designer on the international design scene.
