Right from the start, the mission of the Vernall brothers was to create beautiful, functional and original objects, produced a little bit out of the ordinary that mix attention to detail, refinement and high quality with some healthy fun. A new and subversive philosophy that the British brand itself summarizes in a phrase "A life less ordinary", highlights the desire of the two designers to get out of the usual patterns of conventional objects, the desire to propose something new and never seen before to the public. They create simple, everyday elements that are revisited in a more contemporary way. The collection of vinyl bottle openers has been conceived as small creatures with soft shapes that, with their strong steel teeth, are ready to drink. Chris and Andy Vernall trained at the Royal College of Art and have always shared a passion for iconic and innovative design as well as for the automotive industry; before founding their London firm they have accumulated many experiences, working for large companies such as Nilke, Orange, Tiger Electronics and Ridley Scott Associates. In 2005 they founded their multi-disciplinary design studio V2 Studios, of which the Vitamin collection is part. They still collaborate with some of the world's largest brands in the transport, toys, product and interior design and furnishing accessories sectors. Their design projects start from a search for simple but at the same time innovative solutions, giving each object a design identity capable of satisfying even the most demanding customers. The Vernall brothers instinctively manage to merge the latest trends with the demands of the market, challenging themselves every day in order to find the perfect solution that combines high quality design and technical knowledge. Collaborations are mainly based on the production of innovative design; from the smallest home accessory to the interior design of aircraft. When they collaborated with different company giants and decided to start Vitamin, their personal product collection, they wanted to create something ironic and light, which was pleasant to see but functional to use.
