Schlagseite is a project that aims to highlight the pure and essential side of Breuer-Bono's design bookcase, an airy grid with a well-defined distance from the wall behind it, tilted at a 3 ° angle to maintain perfect balance. In this way the books do not fall, on the contrary they are exposed and enhanced through a structure made of birch plywood covered in black or white. The edges, left natural, and the brushed stainless steel brackets complete Schlagseite. When empty, Breuer-Bono's bookcase reproduces a sinuous shadow on the wall, while when fully loaded it retracts and leaves the scenery to the books.
