LC1 armchair in leather by Cassina

Light and elegant, this is the LC1 Fauteuil à dossier basculant design chair by Cassina. The Cassina armchair was designed in 1929 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand and produced by the brand in 1965. The trio of well-known designers carefully study each element that makes up the seat, nothing is left to chance, from a dedicated study to the posture of the body they build an armchair dedicated to relaxation composed and predisposed to conversation. Geometric lines and mix of different materials intertwine and originate one of the most iconic elements of the design, the structure is made of chromed or black painted tubular steel. The self-supporting fabric allows the choice between leather and fur with leather armrests. Nickel-plated steel springs suitable for fixing and anchoring the covering. Its perfect compositional simplicity is adaptable to different contexts: domestic, professional and luxury waiting rooms. Seat height: 40 cm.
