Alberto Basaglia & Natalia Rota Nodari
Since 1997, Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari have designed projects for the interior design and the construction, but also for the furniture industry and food, in order to realize a design with clean lines and strong character. In 1999 they won the prize Young & Design, realizing their ability to understand the capabilities of the client company, interpreting its features in the product. They also won the Good Design Award in 2007 for a modular bookases system. They designed the L001 lamp, the first ever produced by Pedrali, enabling the company to expand its contract offer even to the lighting. Moreover, they also designed the L002, Time Out, Happy Apple and the Colette series, which have helped to make the Pedrali collection suitable even for the most intimate spaces. "Taking specific energies from the interlocutor and finding ways to strengthen them through the creation of alternative views, it is a challenge that fascinates us" they said in 2013, at the opening of the personal "Alternative synergies. 15 years of projects for companies", made in Milan at the Fondazione Achille Castiglioni.
