Björn Dahlström
Björn Dahlström was born in 1957 in Stockholm, Sweden. He began his career in the late '70s working in animated design. In 1978 he became Art Director and Graphic Designer for a Stockholm advertising agency. In 1982 he founded his business and focused on graphic work for the most famous companies such as Ericson, Scania and Atlas Copco. Today he develops several projects in the fields of industry, furniture, toys, exhibitions and graphics. In particular, he collaborates with companies, such as the Finnish Hackman, which produces kitchen utensils, the Italian Magis and the Swedish CBI, which produces furniture. After teaching at the Beckmans School of Design, Björn becomes a university professor at the University College of Art Crafts and Design in Stockholm. He has won numerous awards, including the Excellent Swedish Design Award.
