Cristina Celestino was born in 1980 in Pordenone. In 2005, she graduated in Architecture at the IUAV University of Venice. After collaborating with several architectural firms, including architect Carmassi in Florence, she shifts her focus on interior architecture and design partnering, among others, with Sawaya & Moroni. Since 2009, she has been developing her own production of furniture and lamps under the name of “ATTICO”, based in Milan. Represented at the most important trade fairs and international galleries, she founded the basis of her work on observation and research, both of the old production and everything that concerns the new cross-cutting creative fields such as fashion-art-design. Common to all projects are the defined geometries and rigor in combination with a subtle interplay on the attitude of traditional forms of use which, through small variations, change the direction of the object and load it with different meanings.
