Jos Kranen and Johannes Gille met as students at Design Academy Eindhoven. Recognizing each other as kindred spirits, they founded a joint studio in 2007. The two delight in juxtaposition. They might bring together unexpected materials like wood and aluminum, or add organic touches to an industrial form. Their work is poetic, a little mysterious, and always intriguing.
