LPWK - Steven Blaess
Laura Polinoro, born Bergamo, graduated in art and communication at the DAMS in Bologna. Initially he worked in contemporary dance dealing with artistic coordination, costumes and sets. He subsequently worked as a researcher at the Domus Academy in Milan. From 1990 to 1998 he was responsible for the Centro Studi Alessi, for which he was a metaprogettist and art director, coordinating the workshops carried out both within the company and in collaboration with numerous universities and design centers all over the world and developing numerous publishing and communication activities. The products entered into production in this period are identified with the abbreviation "CSA". Since 2004 the products coordinated by her are identified with the initials "LPWK". Steven Blaess spent his childhood traveling with his family throughout South Australia. After earning a Bachelor of Design in Human Environments at the University of South Australia in 1994, he designed interior and office furniture in Hong Kong and worked with some architecture and graphic design firms in Australia. Since 1999, Steven has worked with production companies in Europe such as Artemide, Edra, iGuzzini lighting, Fratelli Guzzini. His works of architecture, interior design and industrial appear in international design publications and are exhibited in Milan, Paris, Berlin, London, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney. Steven arrived at the final selection for his Torch Design Proposal for the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
