Born in 1871 in Spain, he spent his youth between Rome, Naples and Paris. He inherited the artistic talent belonging to his father and grandfather, who were already well-known artists at the time. Mariano Fortuny is excellent at painting, chemistry, design, sculpture and photography. His works have been awarded first and exhibited later at the Biennale in Venice in every edition until his death in 1949.
