Son of the seventies, grew up in a culture pervaded by the aesthetic revolution and politics. The alternative atmosphere of those years indelibly characterized the aesthetic sense in his development. Simone D'Auria looks with reverence to Bruno Munari, master of Italian design, when he decided to follow his vocation. The natural talent, the know-how, assimilated over the years, and the cultural preparation, allow him to consciously look out to the world of art and design. At the institutional level, the most prestigious collaborations are with Triennale Milan, where he regularly exhibits some of his works of art and design and St. Moritz Art Masters 2012, where he exibited two of his most recent works (Charging Bull and MV California). Simone D'Auria actually operates in all disciplines of design, creating projects for industrial design, graphic design, publishing, art direction, architecture and interiors of hotels, private houses, showrooms, shops and motorcycles: sometimes he steps in the world of art and photography. This vision, so wide and 'unconventional', pushes him to the constant search for new materials and always different application for them. All his unique projects, products and works are characterized by a strong interdisciplinary and cross charm. This versatility is reflected in the nature of collaborations and projects over the years: among the most important ones we can mention collaborations with internationally renowned architects, projects for private homes of international stars and entrepreneurs, as well as works for some great brands such as Bally, with 135 points of sale, and showrooms around the world for brands such as Adidas and Paola Frani, as well as the most recent collaborations started with Leica, MV Agusta and the group Lungarno. All collaborations that have developed and evolved over time, leading D'Auria to take care of the different aspects and facets of the project, tying it all with a view inter-disciplinary professional and humanistic: from art direction to architecture.
