Sangaku coffee table by Driade

Designed by Elena Salmistraro, the Sangaku coffee tables by Driade are characterized by the interplay of intersections, rotations and dimensional variations. In fact, in Japanese culture the Sangaku are geometric problems engraved on wooden tablets, which in most cases illustrate problems concerning circles and ellipses inscribed one inside the other. Sangaku design coffee tables represent a game of joints where the intersection points become the legs supporting the four different shelves. The idea of ​​the well-known designer Elena Salmistraro is to inscribe within an imaginary circumference with a radius of 50 cm, four smaller circumferences, two of 40 cm and two of 20 cm, creating a new and unique element. Overall, the Sangaku coffee table measures 100 x 82 cm with a height of 41 cm. The structure is outlined by a tubular steel with a diameter of 20 mm painted in pop colors. In combination with the structure, the lower top in extra-clear glass is decorated with digital printing in four different graphics. Internal use only is recommended.
