Gustave Residential is the innovative and elegant table lamp by Flos, created by the well-known designer Vincent Van Duysen. It is a portable and rechargeable table lamp, suitable for domestic environments and above all for contract realities. Minimal design with a retro flavor, Gustave Residential is defined by compact dimensions and a balanced and decisive profile. The Flos rechargeable lamp was inspired by the iconic Adolf Loos table lamps and named after Monsieur Gustave H., the legendary doorman of Wes Anderson's cinematic masterpiece Grand Budapest Hotel. The compact dimensions of Gustave enclose a perfect mix between optical technology, the most innovative lighting technology and disruptive engineering, developed at the service of a very specific purpose: to create the first portable luminaire on the market attentive to the circular, ecological, design and designed against obsolescence. Its soft shapes are developed to contain the LED technological components and the lenses, whose positioning is aimed at providing a light beam that expands obliquely on the underlying surface and then stretches on the stem with a uniform lighting effect at 360 °. To celebrate Vincent Van Duysen's first portable light, Flos has decided to include Gustave Residential in three different contexts and restaurants located in Mexico City, Berlin and New York. The three beautiful cities, with their distinctive and representative charm, have shown how the portable lamp by Flos adapts without difficulty, creating a soft and romantic atmosphere thanks to its glow. The on / off button is very intuitive; the device will turn on or off simply by touching the head of the lamp, creating a tactile relationship with the object. Whether it's a restaurant, a hotel lobby or a table in your home, Gustave Residential by Flos is always at ease. Also noteworthy is the production of the lamp. Flos has made every effort to ensure that the lighting device consists of replaceable components aimed at extending its life. Gustave is a rechargeable cordless lamp, waterproof, suitable for indoor and outdoor and obviously mobile. The specific horeca design includes two "Button Type 18650 Li-Ion" rechargeable batteries: an extra value provided to the restaurateur or hotelier who, in the case of a full house, will not have to buy twice as many lamps (one in use, one in recharge) but, rather, to simply recharge the second battery while the lamp is in use.
