In 1986, he graduated from the I.S.I.A. in Faenza (Institute for Arts and Industrial Design), the school where he would return to teach Industrial Design in 1995.In 1990, he opened his own practice in Milan, working mainly in the field of household product design: ceramic tiles, table- and kitchenware, home technology, rugs and carpets, furniture and lighting fixtures.For FontanaArte, he designed the A Tomic hanging lamp in blown glass in 2003 and the Riga wall lamp in 1995, now also available in an outdoor version.
