Fritz Hansen, a Danish brand in the design realm for many years, has decided to release two different footstool models that differ strictly in colour. Let's first take a look at the black model. The footstool is in itself very simple, showing off an outer layer of leather filled with a very soft material. The piece is topped off with a hidden seam, albeit able enough to maintain the leather's tension. This part has a very curvy shape where the legs are positioned, allowing for a more ergonomic rest. The piece is mounted on a base, which is in turn topped off with small rubber tips on each leg to combat sliding. It is recommended that the product be kept away from direct light which could deteriorate the leather and lead to rips from excessive dryness. As far as pairing the footstool with other furniture, it can be placed in offices or studies where other modern elements feature shades of grey, so as to create a sense of continuity.
