Nacre coffee table with hole by Glas Italia

Nacre is a low table with a fluid appearance that draws inspiration from the organic shape of an oyster shell. Designed by Yabu Pushelberg for Glas Italia, a leading brand in crystal processing and an emblem of Made in Italy. The base is made up of an oval bowl in transparent extralight glass with a mirrored bottom, obtained by deforming a 12 mm flat sheet with a complex thermal process and trimming it around the perimeter. The top, in support, is made of laminated glass with an extralight mirror finish that fades in a circular manner, defining a transparent area with a round shape. Distinctive feature of Nacre is the decentralized hole from which you have access to the base and thus be able to convert it into a planter and terrarium or container-display for objects. The Nacre design coffee table is characterized by the extreme elegance and sophistication of its details.
