Terraliquida coffee table by Glas Italia

An evocative name with a great impact, Terraliquida is the low design coffee table created by Claudio Silvestrin for Glas Italia. Composed of two sections made with diametrically opposed materials: stone and crystal. A parallelepiped in limestone with a monolithic appearance and an element in transparent extralight 15 mm tempered glass, glued at 45 °, which rests on it. The hardness and physicality of the stone is contrasted by the lightness and purity of the crystal. The dualism of the materials is also expressed in the name of Claudio Silvestrin's work, the reference to the solidity of the earth and the flow of water is evident. Terraliquida represents an oxymoron, the union of earth and water demonstrates the perfect combination of elements linked to nature. The low table by Glas Italia is a prominent element for domestic indoor spaces.
