Danish design and blown glass: the Cocoon vase holds flowers and diffuses light. In perfect harmony with its name, it perfectly wraps and protects life, the Cocoon vase welcomes flowers enhancing their beauty and, at the same time, manages to reflect and amplify light in the space that surrounds it. Not by chance, he who realized the vase is the Danish designer Peter Svarrer that is also known as Master of Light. His glass works are capable of playing with light, shadows and reflections, and know how to capture light in the right way so as to sublimate it. This feature is perfectly embodied by the Cocoon vase: the unusual egg shape defined by a rounded and sinuous profile, has a transparency and a truly out of the ordinary brightness. It also features a reinforced base and a carefully finished neck. The vase, empty, is a fine and elegant decorative object, which manages to be unique despite its amazing simplicity. Once filled with water and fresh flowers, it becomes an object able to enhance the beauty of coloured petals and green leaves, which immediately become protagonists thanks to the impalpable transparency of glass. Signed by the Holmegaard brand, the vase is part of a large collection consisting of models of various sizes and different finishes, perfect to be used together for those who love to decorate the house in an original and customized way. The proposed version has a medium size and is characterized by the great capacity to hold any kind of flower. The perfection of shape of this vase and the elegance of its transparency are due to an exclusive manufacturing process: the Cocoon glass vase is in fact mouth-blown. Its sober and almost ethereal look makes it a versatile object, to be used in any room of the house to decorate and create points of light in the living area, but also in bedrooms. It is also excellent even for contract contexts, in which it represents a touch of class.
