Bard pouf by InternoItaliano

Bard is a faux concrete pouf that evokes the urban environment, but which, beyond appearances, fits perfectly into an office or home environment. Designed by Giulio Iacchetti for Internoitaliano, the pouf has an original line that playfully reinvents the traffic divider designed by Enzo Mari for Milanese urban spaces. Presented at the Salone del Mobile 2014, Bard has a beech plywood structure, polyurethane foam padding and lycra upholstery with a print that reflects the texture of the concrete. The pouf was born as a tribute to the city of Milan; shape and texture, in fact, echo those of the “panettone” -shaped concrete parking bollards, distributed among the metropolitan streets. The allusion is ironically played on the theme of comfort: an uncomfortable and repulsive object par excellence becomes soft and, therefore, attractive. Bard for 6 kg and is for indoor use only.
