The Pumo, in Italian pinecone, is a flower bud, symbol of a new life rooted in the ancient Apulian tradition. It is usually placed at the end of balconies, columns, terraces and in pairs on the bedside of the newlyweds to wish them happiness, prosperity and fertility. Honoring this symbol of rural Italy, Fabio Novembre underlines the close bond that unites it to his region of origin, reinterpreting this object for Kartell with a multi-faceted lid, also perfect as a centerpiece.
