The transparent milk pan The Kettle, designed by Lara Caffi, is an item with a unique style which might also be used as a milk jug on the table. The design milk pan The Kettle is made of borosilicate glass and features a steel handle. On the first use it is recommended to try The Kettle by bringing to a boil a small quantity of milk or water; over time the milk pan might be subject to involuntary impacts and thus must be tested before each use, with a small quantity of milk or water, before filling it up; prior to use, always check for breaks; in the case you notice any cracks on the milk pan while you are cooking, immediately turn off the heat source and do not remove the milk pan from the hob before the milk or water has cool down; the glass is chemically non-reactive and therefore might be used to boil any kind of food, without worrying about its degree of acidity, nor other reactive properties; always add salt only once the food has cooled down; do not use any metal utensils, but only plastic or wooden utensils; avoid any impact or pressure on the main part of the milk pan and on the handle; avoid strong temperature changes, temperature should rise and fall gradually; the handle is fixed with steel screws: prior to each use check that they are properly tightened; do not use scouring powder and/or steel wool to wash The Kettle; just use warm water and a soft sponge with a small amount of mild detergent; washing in the dishwasher is allowed at low temperature cycles (50° or Eco); store the milk pan with care; glass is fragile and although borosilicate is more durable it must be treated with extreme caution; on the GAS hob: always use a flame spreader like the universal adaptor KnIndustrie; on the INDUCTION hob: use the universal adaptor KnIndustrie; keep children away while using the kettle. Dishwasher-safe.
