The internationally renowned designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby design Alpina for the Italian brand Magis. The focus of the famous designer duo is to adopt a sustainable and circular approach in the creation of their products. Each creation wants to be an object capable of overcoming fashions and trends, elevating itself to be handed down from generation to generation as a coveted heirloom. This translates into a constant and careful choice of materials: solid ash wood (FSC certified) and injection molded backrest in bio-based polypropylene that comes 100% from used cooking oils. Fully recyclable. Alpina is inspired by the tradition of Alpine furniture, known for its versatility and functionality. Alpina presents clean and elegant lines capable of adapting to both traditional and more contemporary environments. The new chair by Magis is simple and enveloping, thanks to its slightly curved backrest. Alpina is available in several variants: seat and legs in natural ash with olive green backrest, seat and legs in natural ash with beige backrest, seat and legs in black stained ash with black backrest. Alpina is suitable for both domestic and contract use. Seat height from the ground: 45 cm.
