In 1973 she graduated in architecture at the Polytechnic in Turin. Between the '70s and' 80s she worked – together with Alessandro Mendini, Ettore Sottsass Jr and Andrea Branzi - in the Alchimia group, the most innovative of the Italian design scene, thanks to which in 1983 she won the prestigious Osaka International Design Award, bestowed in that year for the first time. Her career has been long and complex, working as architect, designer, art director, interior designer, essayist, teacher and curator of exhibitions and events, both independently and for selected clients: Abet Laminati, Armani Casa , Knoll International, Alessi, Piazza Sempione, Mondo, Driade, Orizzonti, Arcade, Oltrefrontiera, Casamilano, Antonangeli, Dada, Molteni, Natuzzi, Roche Bobois or Swarovski are just some of the possible examples. Since 1998 she has been working as artistic director for Gervasoni’s company.
