A crossover between a chair and an armchair, the “Pupa” outdoor chair is the perfect seat when you want to relax. Born from the creative mind of designer Andrea Branzi for Qeeboo, the soft, elegant and enveloping lines of the chair, devoid of sharp corners, ensures a comfortable seat. Furthermore, tests carried out by the CATAS Research and Development Centre show that it is very resistant to static loads on the seat, backrest, and armrests and, moreover, that its considerable weight (18 kg) ensures great stability. What makes Andrea Branzi’s creation special are also the materials used – polyethylene and steel – which give it an incredibly elegant look. The presence of metal legs guarantees a touch of modernity that allows this chair to be inserted into a large number of contexts: terraces, patios, gardens or even simple balconies are the ideal environments in which to place this modern piece, and the choice of colours, ranging from black to green, to white, enhances such versatility. The “Pupa” outdoor chair features both frame and legs in painted iron, ensuring a high resistance to atmospheric agents such as heat, rain, or humidity. As it is designed to be used outdoors, this comfortable chair is made with materials that are easy to clean, and all you need to do is wipe it with a damp cloth. For greater durability, we recommend protecting should you not use it for prolonged periods of time. In many cases, in fact, this is more harmful to the structure of the chair than atmospheric agents.
