The Chichibio coffee table is a great mix of design and architecture history which will look great just about anywhere – why go without? A small and versatile design accessory, Chichibio by Zanotta can also be used as a telephone support or tray for all those little things we carry around every day like keys, diaries, wallets, small electronic devices, and much more and for which we never seem to have a fixed place. The small size allows you to fit the Chichibio coffee table in small spaces yet its height was designed to make it easy for you to rest all your knick-knacks on it. The 20 cm diameter chrome-plated steel structure ensures at the same time sturdiness, inalterability, and versatility thanks to the neutral appearance of metal. Designed in 1932 by architects Giuseppe Pagano Pogatschnig and Gino Levi Montalcini, this was an avant-garde project for the time, joining the idea of functionality and the clean lines of Bauhaus to the constructive plasticity inspired by the Italian Rationalist movement. The popularity of the ideas expressed in this item has been such that it has never been necessary to interrupt its production. The reasons for the long-selling success of the Chichibio coffee table as pocket emptier are, above all, its usefulness and its discreet modern lines which match any kind of furniture and home décor. The two round 8 mm plastic laminate shelves also allow you to place this item just about anywhere in your house, enhancing any corner with its timeless elegance and helping you make use of all the space available. The supporting surface is reversible: one side is white and one side is black.
