Geometric and simple, Zanotta's Throw-Away armchair is the new way of interpreting space. Made entirely of expanded polyurethane, Throw-Away is the armchair that never loses its shape thanks to the absence of a rigid and heavy internal frame. Designed by Willie Landels for Zanotta based on the models born in 1965, it's an armchair that marked an era for its innovative and disruptive design force, completely free from wood or metal inserts. The new Throw-Away is enriched with raw materials and colours that look back to tradition while remaining open arms to the future. The lining, completely removable, offers a softness that integrates and exalts the item’s geometric lines as a whole. Winner of the gold medal at the M.I.A in 1970 and displayed in some of the most prestigious museums in the world, Zanotta's Throw-Away can classily fit into any environment, blending in with different lines and styles. Used alone or with elements of the same series such as the sofa, it is perfect in modern furnishings. A real symbol for relaxation, it can be used as a reading chair, perhaps placed next to the bookcase. Pure design lovers can have fun creating unusual corners by placing this armchair next to coffee tables, playing with shapes and colours. Thanks to its essential and geometric shape, we can also use it in the bedroom or in the children's room, perhaps playing with a contrast in colours. And for those who want to use it in the office? Thanks to its size it is easy to adapt it to any environment and it can create pleasant and relaxed atmosphere in professional environments, also giving them a touch of charm and elegance thanks to its unique and timeless design. Well-being, relaxation and a touch of elegance from the past: Zanotta's Throw-Away is the armchair that can break monotony with its strength of colours and shapes! Information: This armchair is lined in Ecofire fabric, and the lining can be removed.
