The new Rodolfo with chaise longue at Milan Design Week 2019

It is the star of our ThESIGN collection, designed by the architect Davide Negri. We are obviously talking about Rodolfo, our modular sofa proposed in different versions and colours. From April 9^th, on the occasion of the 58^th edition of the Milan Design Week 2019, a new version with chaise longue is available, which turns into a cozy double-bed in just a few moves. In this way, the traditional modules are complemented by another element that adds unprecedented furnishing possibilities.

The news was presented at the Fuorisalone within SANTASOFIA27, a showroom for Made in Italy design in the homonymous street in Milan. A large space - 500 square meters on two levels - in the heart of Milan, the one chosen by LOVEThESIGN to add a physical dimension to the virtual dimension of international e-commerce of furniture and home accessories. A space entirely dedicated to Rodolfo, one of our bestsellers.

The LOVEThESIGN space, set up in partnership with Flos and Jannelli&Volpi, will allow to combine the online shopping experience with the opportunity to see and try the modular sofa in the indoor and outdoor versions. The space is open from Monday to Saturday from 10.00am to 7.00pm.

Inaugurated in 2005 by Gorlini, a Milanese brand of sartorial doors and windows, SANTASOFIA27 is a true hub of Italian creativity, offering a refined selection of Made in Italy brands such as Bonacina, Luce di Carrara, Ponzio, Internorm, Glas Italia, Lualdi, Silvelox and Coelux. In the same area, Gorlini presents Framelight, a collection of minimal wooden windows with integrated light, created in collaboration with the lighting design studio Lucespazio.

Rodolfo is composed of six elements that can be combined as desired: a steel rod structure, a pouf / backrest, a single or openable seat / bed version, a single or openable chaise longue / bed version. With these elements, each sold separately, you can create infinite combinations, from basic composition to furnish large spaces.

With the pieces of which it is composed and with the existing fabric and colour variants, everyone can create his own Rodolfo. Available online from April 15^th, the new Rodolfo can be booked in the showroom. Come and try it!
