Kathrin Charlotte Bohr
Motion in stillness. Set designers Kathrin Charlotte Bohr and Mauro Falomi were in the midst of renovating a 1950s apartment in the Monteverde district of Rome when struck with the inspiration for their own interiors line. Inspired by their cinema background, the duo formed GREYGE which produces homewares that transform form and movement into the art of furnishing a room. First spotted at the Salone del Mobile 2012 in Milan, GREYGE's innovative, handmade chairs and tables are crafted from super durable material like steel and wood, transformed to magically convey an air of lightness. Inspired by contemporary architecture and Italy’s storied craft traditions, MONOQI is proud to include these pieces in a selection of specially curated design objects honouring the legacy of Italian design. Every line and angle of these beautiful creations is primed to take flight.
