Normann Copenhagen Scandinavian Furniture

Normann Copenhagen is a lifestyle, a mindset and an inspirational place. It challenges traditional project rules. Traditional materials are used in unconventional ways - for instance in an Icelandic stone hook, in a silicon vase or a in a plastic dog. Born at the end of the last century thanks to the partnership in Copenhagen between Poul Madsen and Jan Andersen, it developed a new way of understanding the design. Later on the first accessories were produced until the creation of the first furniture.

Their style is based mainly on the originality of the shapes and on the use of particular materials that make their products unique like the use of the stone as integral and functional part of their products. Very soon the studio became an attraction center not only for those who loves home furnishing design but also for those who constantly followed fashion, integrated and incentivized by the Normann Copenhaggen creations, so much that the new studio represents a reference point for worldwide fashion.

Since that moment on the brand is still increasing its success and nowadays it is present in many countries in the world with its stores, receiving prizes for the quality and the originality of its collections. Normann Copenhagen not only started collaboration with other designers, but also keeps an open a communication channel with everyone who want to bring to their attention new projects and new creations.
