Pulcina was born from a research entirely dedicated to the design and functionality of the espresso coffee maker. The result of this study and the application of the tecnoloiga developed by illycaffè, Pulcina is a high performance coffee maker, with a boiler that stops dispensing the drink at the right time, before the coffee acquires a bitter aftertaste. This allows you to enhance the full-bodied and round aroma of this drink. The spout has been designed with the same care for the functional aspects: when pouring coffee, its particular V shape, which resembles the beak of a chick (hence the name of the coffee maker) allows you to perfectly cut the drop. Made of cast aluminum, Pulcina contains a small but substantial design innovation: its shape allows you to prepare a practically perfect coffee! It can be used on any heat source, even induction.
