LOFT42 is a company that produces and markets a line of luxury products designed, evaluated, and approved by the team that deals with the design magazine DESIGN42DAY. The objects produced by LOFT today can be counted on the fingers of one hand but are united by a subtle aesthetic sense, which makes them very special and recognizable. Despite their unity, they were born from the ideas of other contemporary very young designers. This is because LOFT42 is willing to explore the ideas of every designer that has the desire to present them. So a total freshness and the idea of transforming with time on the springboard of many of the new European designers. The objects that are produced by LOFT42 furnishings, includes two chairs, a glass and a lamp. It has added to the collection a special necklace, which brings the idea of design in a scope that has not yet been particularly investigated by most contemporary designers. Emblematic of the lamp Shiro, produced in a single piece of a special tear-resistant material and is produced by bending the sheet carefully, so as to hold the lamp tight: it supports itself and gives out light inspired by the traditional Japanese lamps. Another product emblematic of the collection LOFT42 is the Little Angel chair: a children's chair, whose back is made from the shape of the wings of an angel. These two objects seem simple, but they are produced with high quality materials and are able on their own to give a touch of originality and elegance to any room.
The intent of LOFT42 is precisely to disseminate design objects that are unique, elegant and very specific, which contribute to creating the most beautiful homes around the world. All in search of perfection, ideas, and innovation. For this reason in particular LOFT42 pushes objects created by designers of the new generation, so that they are protagonists of contemporary industrial design. LOFT, in the name, is the sense of freedom and innovation represented in the concept of the fully open plan: just like in a loft, LOFT42 doesn't like to have its boundaries clearly defined and delineated. Items sold by LOFT42 are not luxurious in the strict sense of the term, because luxury does not depend on the price, but the essence of things.
