Mojoo is a Danish brand that creates accessories for the house inspired by everyday life and adding a lively touch of clean and linear design, that is distinctive of the Nordic style. Mojoo gets its inspiration from who we are and what we like. The word Mojoo represents our positive attitude towards everyday life. Mojoo reaches its maximum level of expression when we are fully experiencing what we are doing, and when we communicate to the world this positive experience. The brand is working with Designers from all over Europe, developing open-minded projects and products.
Mojoo develops and produces, among other items, beautiful lacquered wooden trays in several pastel colours that change depending on the trends of the season. Home accessories that are aesthetically pleasing and with clean lines, but without forgetting the aesthetic pleasure of owning an article full of style and personality. All Mojoo trays are processed entirely by hand: every single item is produced according to ancient traditions and wood lacquer is brush for twelve times before it is really " surface finished"; a special technique that gives the object a fantastic soft and really smooth. The full realization of a tray, for example, requires full fourty-five working days.
The white lacquered tray by Mojoo that you can find in our catalogue, presents a modern square shape. A useful item to serve coffee or tea, but also to help in setting up the table or to become a protagonist of the scene if used as a centrepiece. The tray is an object that, after several re-interpretations, has become increasingly present in our homes, often replacing the more cumbersome coffee table. You simply place it on the floor, on a mat or a pouf, to give a less formal tone to your coffee break or aperitif. Moreover, the raised edges and the easy-grip holes, allow to carry it around in total safety. Mojoo wanted to create a simple and elegant product that combines perfect functionality and a touch of beauty and style. Modernity, simplicity and clean lines, this is the underlying mood of the elegant trays produced by this Danish brand.
But do not limit your imagination: the Mojoo trays will perfectly fit in the bedroom, placed on the dresser, to store your necklaces; or on the bathroom shelf, or even on the bar in the living room for storing your precious bottle of crystal brandy.

Erik Magnussen was born in Copenhagen in 1940. Just graduated as a ceramist at the school of art in the ‘60s, he started working for the porcelain industry in Copenhagen, that back then was already very renowned.
It didn't take long for Magnussen to break with the paradigms of tradition and begin creating modern sets with only a few multi-functional elements, trying to avoid repeating the mistakes of previous projects. He applied the same philosophy, he also applies to the furniture industry. He has designed a thermos for Stelton and the stackable chair Chairik for Engelbrechts. Both products are typical examples of how Erik Magnussen gives a nice clean slate every time he starts a new project. With the aim of constantly improving, he always starts from scratch, leaving aside everything he had done before.
In his designs there are aesthetic, financial and social elements, as well as the "welfare factor": all concepts that blend into the enlightened vision of Erik Magnussen, that allows him to design anything. Although his personality is more oriented towards products that interact with the human body, such as cutlery, glasses, chairs, and so on...
Today, Erik Magnussen's designs are exhibited in museums all around the world.
He has received numerous recognitions and awards for his fantastic work. It was the youngest designer to receive the Lunning Prize in 1967, and he was also elected as Royal Designer for Industry by The Royal Society of Art in London.
