Siderio
Siderio is a trademark belonging to the company Archè Italia Srl, which is based in Brescia and has 30 years of experience in the construction of platform roofs, facilities, design objects, doors and windows and glass and steel items. Siderio - moving furniture complements is the section developed within the company in 2013 and dedicated exclusively to steel furnishing for home and office. The project is based on high-end design and the sophistication of the solutions proposed in the catalogues, so as to combine modernity, elegance and ability to be always at the forefront. The first prototypes by Siderio were created by Davide Onofri and Gianfranco and Mattia Delbarba (father and son). Mattia Delbarba is a business partner of Archè Italia Srl. Later, he was involved in the project of the famous architect Pierangelo Sciuto: new products were invented and the first collection by Siderio was presented to the public in November 2013.

But what is Siderio's origin? Gianfranco Delbarba, founder and CEO of Archè Italy Srl, after having obtained a diploma in surveying in 1985 in Brescia, began working as an apprentice at Carpenser until he became responsible for the commercial and production area. It was the family business working in the production of iron and aluminium doors and windows and metallic carpentry. When in 1998 he became manager of the company, he devoted the company to the production of glass and steel structures and then he founded in 2009 Archè Italia. The collaboration of Gianfranco Delbarba with Davide Onofri (industrial designer of Archè Italy) dates back to 1994, when Onofri (a mechanical engineer who specialized in industrial design) entered Carpenser's staff. After the fulfillment increasingly advanced ideas and important projects, the collaboration resulted in 2013 in Archè Italia. Onofri is the industrial designer and designer of Siderio: the brand is now a real workshop of ideas where furnishings are created always at the forefront of steel and glass working, through a new way of conceiving furniture. The management of Siderio is entrusted mostly to Mattia Delbarba, a mechanical engineer passionate about design and creative strategist in Archè Italia. He joined Siderio in 2013 and since then he takes care of the expansion of the brand towards new markets, first of all the US.Therefore, Siderio arises as an opportunity developed through a series of choices to pursue its founders' aspirations.

The products and the furnishings created by Siderio are always creative solutions whose implementation methods are almost a philosophy of life. The choices are clear, but the ideas are constantly evolving to stay ahead. The distinctive features of the brand are found amongst the characteristics of the furnishings in the various collections of the catalogue: for example, they can be horizontal or vertical, but in any case lines are precise and all pieces are manufactured by combining high technology with the craftsmanship of the process. For this brand, substance is more important than ornaments: there are not many frills, while the basic principles are solid. The current catalogue includes highly versatile magazine-racks and painted steel bookcases: both furnishings complements and furniture produced by this brand are made with the greatest care by expert hands. In particular, the shelves can be moved upright thanks to a special joint that by the way is a registered patent by Siderio: for this reason the brand has a unique style and its products are always original.

Currently, Siderio collaborates with international players so as to reach markets in Germany, North America, the UK, Canada, Holland and Switzerland. Its products are recognized as high-quality items and are all made of quality materials. The constant commercial expansion is now reaching new countries even through online sales. Siderio's products combine problem-solving skills to interior design knowledge, so as to give to homes and offices a touch of originality. Siderio's furnishing elements suit any room of the house, be it the living room, an open plan kitchen, a bedroom, bathroom or special areas as a niche or a hallway. In fact, steel can easily adapt to various solutions, tastes and spaces without any mistake. It just need to be processed in various ways until it assumes different forms and colours so as to enhance the characteristics of the different spaces and to tell their story through the quality of material.

Through an ongoing dialogue with both the needs of the customers and the ideas of experts belonging to the old and the new generation of designers, this brand creates furnishings and bookcases characterized by a great versatility and easy to assemble. These are the core values on which the company bases its entire philosophy. The first point is obtained through the innovative Siderio patent by which the furniture can be assembled and disassembled in a few seconds. This allows not only to assemble them easily, but also to reorganize your spaces whenever you need. The vertical load-bearing structure, supported by the base, is obtained with rhythmic laser cuts performed by sophisticated machines. Then the piece of furniture is finished by master craftsmen to ensure a higher quality. Then they insert accessories and long thin shelves to customize the design at will. The production ranges from a basic solution to the more advanced versions through the infinite assembly possibilities.
