Among the many creations of Kartell, the Masters chair sticks out for a variety of reasons. The aesthetics of this piece of furniture really steal the show, making it a one-of-a-kind piece, while the chair itself was designed by one of the most internationally acclaimed designer, Philippe Starck. This item also has been honoured with several major awards, such as the Red Dot Design Award in 2013 and the Good Design Award in 2010. The metal Masters chair is a remake of this eye-catching piece in chrome shades, further accentuating its unusual and modern aesthetic. The support legs keep it simple, linear and modern, and the same can be said about the perfectly smooth and slightly arched chair. The most interesting features of this chair are located in its upper part, as the seat is "embraced" by a series of elements with soft lines, serving as a backrest but, at the same time, as a strong decorative feature. These unusual details evoke captivating "half and half" details, which represent the most striking features of this modern Kartell chair. Masters is a fine chair with regards to comfort level as well, and this should be stressed since most chairs brimming in originality usually often leave comfort behind. In this creation ergonomics has been studied in great detail to provide for a satisfactory product from this point of view as well. The metal Masters chair can be adapted in many different ways: on the domestic level this remarkable chair is perfect for a living room, a dining room, or even a bedroom, while at the same time this chair gives off a magnificent visual impact to all sorts of rooms, which could be the case in a bar or restaurant. Also suitable for outdoor use and stackable up to 4 units.
