Designed by Michele De Lucchi, the Plissé electric kettle is shaped by a pleating that enhances its timeless beauty, like that of a masterpiece of sculpture or a sophisticated dress of haute couture. Plissé seems to combine geometric solids: a cone for the body, a cylinder for the handle, a triangular prism for the spout. Plissé is made of thermoplastic resin and has been studied with a few tricks that facilitate its use and underline its versatility: a safety device interrupts the power supply with an insufficient quantity or in the absence of water; the bottom of the kettle, thermally insulated, allows after boiling, to place Plissé without any risk, on any plane. The practicality of use is underlined by the easy opening and closing of the main spout, the internal indicator of the maximum water level, the limescale filter, the automatic switch-off, the quick release from the concealed feeding base.
